Arena PA - User Guide
Playlists -

Arena PA links to music in your iPod.
  1. Launch your iPod.
  2. Create a playlist called "Arena Music".
  3. Add your favourite songs that you want to play during a stoppage in play.
  4. Create a playlist called "Arena Sounds".
  5. Add your favourite sound effects and music used for game situations and
    other entertainment.
Alternatively, you can set-up your playlists in iTunes and sync with your iOS
device.
 
   
   
Main Page -

Tap the GOAL button when the Home team scores a goal.

Customize the GOAL audio:
  1. Tap Edit
  2. Tap the GOAL button
  3. Tap the Audio field and select your favourite audio track from the list and
    then tap Done.
  4. Options: Loop Audio to repeat your audio track when played, Taper Audio to fade in and fade out the audio track and adjust the volume setting.
 
   
Use the MUSIC button mainly for stoppages in play such as off sides, icings or when the goalie freezes the puck. Press the button again to stop playing music. The next music track will play when you press the MUSIC button again.

The MUSIC button automatically selects tracks from your Arena Music playlist. The tracks will play in the order that they are set in your playlist or you can set Shuffle Music to ON to play the tracks randomly.
Changing the MUSIC settings:
  1. Tap Edit
  2. Tap the MUSIC button
  3. Make your adjustments and tap Done.
 
   
   
Live
Use this feature to announce goals, assists and penalties.
  1. Tap the LIVE AUDIO button and speak into the microphone in your device.
  2. You can adjust the volume for optimal sound level.
  3. Tap the LIVE AUDIO button again to turn the microphone off.
 
   
Situation
Use this menu to play sound effects or music during certain game situations such as penalties, hat tricks or time outs. Tap a label to play the audio track and tap again to stop.
Customize the Situation menu:
  1. Tap the Edit button.
  2. Tap a situation name (label) that you want to change or delete.
  3. Tap the Label field to change the name of the label.
  4. Tap the Audio field to select your audio track and tap the Done button to
    finish.
  5. Tap the Reorder button to arrange your labels and tap Done to finish
You can add more labels and audio by tapping the + button.
   
   
Other
You can entertain the fans leading up to the puck drop or during intermission with this menu. Play the teamʼs warm-up song, the national anthem or even a pre-recorded welcome message.
Customize the Other menu:
  1. Tap the Edit button.
  2. Tap a label that you want to change or delete.
  3. Tap the Label field to change the name of the label.
  4. Tap the Audio field and select your favourite audio track from the list and
    then tap Done.
  5. Tap the Reorder button to arrange your labels and tap Done to finish.
You can add more labels and audio by tapping the + button.
   
 
Game Time Set-up
A. Set Auto-Lock to Never so that your Arena PA display does not close.
Settings > Auto-Lock > Never
B. Set your device to Airplane Mode so you can block incoming calls and notification audio alerts such as mail and text messages.
Settings > Airplane Mode > ON
C. Connect a 3.5mm stereo audio cable to your iOS device and the arena sound system. Audio inputs may vary by arena. You may need audio jack adaptor cables. Make sure the arena sound system is on and the volume is turned up.
D. Bring the power supply connectors for your device to ensure that your device will operate for the duration of the game.
