| Searching for a location |
| |
There are two ways to search for a location.
In the Map view, you can use gestures to locate destinations. Swipe,
scroll, pinch or pan to move around the map. Release and HockeyGPS
will update.
Using the search field at the top of the Map view, enter one or all of
the search criteria: location name, city or province/state.

| Location Details |
| |
| Tap on a hockey stick to get the summary details of a location.
If your search shows multiple locations, try using the List view to
scroll through the results to find your location.
To reveal full details of a location, tap the right arrow on a location
summary. |

| Navigating to your location |
| |
There are two ways to navigate to your location.
Tap the yellow direction symbol located on the left side of the
summary view to reveal a recommended route to your destination.
In the Details view, tap on “Directions to Here” to get turn-by-turn
directions provided by Google Maps. |

Saving Locations |

| |
In the Details view of a location, tap "Add to Bookmarks" to save the
location. To map this location in the future, tap the bookmark icon in
the Search field and then tap the location from the list. |

| Preferences Page |
| |
The default number of search results is 20. You can change the
number of locations that appear in search results by changing the
default value.
Your HockeyGPS system subscription expiry date is
shown on this page. The app will remind you when it is time to renew
your subscription.
Tap "Renew Subscription" anytime to renew or extend the time
remaining on your subscription. Use your Apple ID to make the inapp
purchase. |

| Contributing New Locations |
| |
| HockeyGPS has thousands of locations in its system. If you would like
us to add a new hockey location, use the "Add Location" page to enter
details and a photo. We will review the submission before it is added
to the system. |

| Other Features |
| |
| In the Details view, tap the phone number to instantly place a call.
Tap a web link to open Safari. |

| Information |
| |
| Tap on the information icon "i" on the Preferences page to access our
social network links, email us with comments and suggestions and view
contributors to this app. |
