Sharp Sk8s - User Guide
   
First time use of the app -

When you first use the Sharp Sk8s app, you'll be taken to the Ice Time page. This is where you will keep track of the amount of time you use your skates between sharpenings. When you try to add time for the first time by tapping the + button, you'll be asked to start with a fresh skate sharpening. Tap OK and then go to the Sk8s Card menu.
 
   
   
Sk8s Card
 
This is where you will keep track of your skate sharpenings. It simulates one time purchases and pre-paid discount cards that many skate sharpening shops offer.

Simply tap (punch) the number 1 or the One Time space to record your first sharpening. You are now ready to record the amount of ice time for your blades.
 
   
   
Ice Time
 
After every game, practice, skill session or performance, tap the + button to select the amount of time you were on the ice. The total ice time will reset once you punch your Sk8s Card after your next sharpening.
   
   
Blade condition indicator
 
As you add ice time, the blade indicator will change from green to yellow and to red. Red indicates that it is time to get your skates sharpened again.
   
   
Sk8s Reminder
 
Sometimes your local skate sharpening service is backed up and you donʼt want to wait around for your skates to be sharpened. Use the built-in reminder to return before closing time.

Tap the + button and select the time and date that you need to return to the store. The alert will display and sound even when the app is not running.
   
   
One Time Skate Sharpening
 
Sometimes you need to get your skates sharpened elsewhere or you do not purchase pre-paid discount sharpening cards. The One Time button will reset the Ice Time blade indicator every time you tap it.

If you have a partially used pre-paid discount card and you tap the One Time button, a message will appear to confirm that you want to use this feature.
   
   
Resetting Sk8s Card
 
When your card is used up, you can select a 10 pack or 12 pack pre-paid discount skate sharpening card. Just tap the + button to make a selection.
   
   
Hockey Bag
 
This checklist will help you make sure that you have packed all of your hockey equipment. Just tap on each item as you place it in your hockey bag. There are two labels that you can name for additional items.

To clear the list, tap the Empty Bag button or shake your device.
